This is a beautiful Victorian 19th c. CDV size tintype Photo of Willis Bronson hand signed and handwritten with his name, identified. The CDV size paper matte is marked "Potter's Patent, March 7 1865." Found in Rockland, Maine ME, Knox County.

A beautiful old historical tintype image of a handsome Bronson family man who appears to be in his late twenties to early thirties. He has a very thick and handsome wool nappy vest overcoat, with plaid tie. This is a Civil war era photo. He may be a soldier. We assume he was Union, as he wears heavy winter clothing and the photo was found in the North. A beautiful old piece.
