On reverse: "Born approx 1840, Died 1919 at 79, Rosa Ehrmann, born Brüll, Mother of Leopold, wife of Wilhelm Ehrmann" is clearly handwritten in ballpoint pen on a white sticker, see scan. Photo type: CDV Carte de visite photo. This is a German CDV photo. The left corner on front of CDV has a thickly embossed photographer's advertising logo: TIETZ, Munchen, Bahnhofplatz. We found Hermann Tietz in searches, as a photographer in Munich. Karstadt München Bahnhofplatz is located in Maxvorstadt, Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
Found in Hampshire County MA, which means she has USA roots, possibly her son Leopold Ehrmann lived in the USA?
