His Wife: The County review., August 27, 1915, Page 2, Image 2 (Riverhead, N.Y.) 1903-1950: "OBITUARY OF MRS. LUCRETIA FIELDS. East Moriches — Mrs. Lucretia Fields, for many years a member of the Eighteenth Street M.E. Church of Brooklyn, N.Y., died on August 10th, after two months' sickness at the home of her grandson at 668 Vanderbilt Avenue, Brooklyn. She was born in Brooklyn seventy-nine years ago, a daughter of the late Albert Voorhees and Catherine Stillwell Voorhees, and was a descendant of the old Long Island family. She was the widow of Warrington Fields, who died thirty years ago and she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Bartholomew, of Patchogue, and Mrs. Joseph KcGarvey, of this village, and four sons, Robert, Alfred, Philip and Francis Fields; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery."
This beautiful set of photos of 2 half brothers, Ben & Charles Field, were found in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Field family genealogy. They were found with a photo of Willie Watson, assumed to be a childhood friend, with the same handwriting on reverse, see his photo here. It is assumed at one time the 3 CDV photos were removed from an old vintage 19th c. family photo album, which often do not stand the test of time. William "Willie" Watson may be a Brooklyn relative, or childhood friend, see his photo here.
Size: 2.5 x 4 inches Note: Hello from ~debra. I have spent years collecting over 10,000 ID’d lost family photos & paper from US flea markets & antique shops. I do the best gen research I can, but am always open to corrections. This is an original antique item, not a reprint. A new high quality rigid sleeve is included for extra protection, especially during shipping. You may buy a piece alone, or large intimate 300 dpi scans of the front and back sent immediately via email, or both. Please search carefully, as they are often found together and many may be related. I also invite you to join me at Ancestorville Genealogy on facebook. Thank you, enjoy! ~Debra Clifford (contact info on top bar)
