Printed on card: "W.A. Coffin." This Coffin family calling card was found in the New England area, specifically in Millbrook NY, Dutchess County.

As per Victorian custom, a folded upper left corner card tells that the visitor is making a routine call in person. This beautiful old piece will be sent in a new clean archival rigid sleeve for your collection. We found evidence of an artist or painter born in Pennsylvania named William Anderson Coffin  (1855–1925), also known as WA Coffin. He signed his paintings as such and his bio can be found here. He lived in New York City in 1882. We cannot say if this was his calling card, but is a beautiful piece nonetheless.
