-Richard Pedlow, Tom Pedlow Family
On back: "Tom Pedlow & Friend" handwritten in ballpoint pen, see scan, and "Tom Pedlow" also written in ballpoint pen on the other photo.
Photo type: 2 Two Carte de visite Photographs:
1. Photographer advertising backmark on CDV #1 reads: JA Wilson, No. 42 State Street, New Albany, Indiana This is in Floyd County. (known to be James A. Wilson)
2. The second single CDV has a large old pink paper label is attached from the "Merchant's Portrait Company" in Chicago, Illinois. This was a button or advertising celluloid pinback button manufacturer. in Cook County.
These 2 photos were found together in NYS New York State, Albany County. Tom may have northeast ties. See public record info below.
Note: Tom has what appears to be an injured left eye in both photos. Although the poses look identical, they are not. They were taken the same day, with his black silk hand tied cravat, cocked a bit. It is assumed the photo of him alone has the same backmark under the pink paper, is exactly the same mount. It is assumed that later in the 1880-90's, a family member ordered a copy of a photo of Tom, and in Chicago.

Note: Hello from ~debra. I have spent years collecting over 10,000 ID’d lost family photos & paper from US flea markets & antique shops. I do the best gen research I can, but am always open to corrections. This is an original antique photo set, not a reprint. New high quality rigid sleeves will be included for extra protection, especially during shipping. You may buy this set alone, or large intimate 300 dpi scans of the front and backs of both sent immediately via email, or both. Please search carefully, as they are often found together and many may be related. I also invite you to join me at Ancestorville Genealogy on facebook.
