Printed on this original antique advertising billhead: "T. Mutton & Son: Established over 60 years. Bot. of T. Mutton & Son, High Class Butchers & Graziers. Purveyors of Super Quality English Meat, Up to Date refrigerators on the Premises, Victoria Square, Truro. Deliveries to all parts daily. Personal Supervision. Phone 2028." On reverse, a handwritten note, "David M." and next line appears to read "Widdleman & Pollard" which is handwritten in old period pencil.

This is a beautiful and small old early advertising billhead for this Cornish butcher company with the wonderful and appropriate surname of mutton. It shows a great circa 1910 scene of the Mutton Butcher shop in Victoria Square, Truro. Cornwall. It was found in Topsham, Exeter, Devon, England.
