When Thomas Boyden was born on January 19, 1834 in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Norfolk County. His father, Stephen Boyden was 48 and his mother, Hannah Pettee Boyden was 45. He married Martha L. Johnson on September 25, 1855 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. They had four children in 19 years. He died on October 3, 1906 in his hometown, at the age of 72.

Found in Portland, Maine, Cumberland County Maine with a large number of calling cards from New England. It unusual to have a wife's maiden name printed on a calling card. This beautiful card was their personally printed card and one of a kind.
