On front: "To Emeline Stevenson (or Emmeline Stevenson), From John C. Nolder, Teacher. Found in the New England area, specifically Nashua, New Hampshire in Hillsborough County. This is a beautiful and ornate 1860s Civil War era reward of merit card with a litho image of a young girl with a bird. It has ornate Calligraphy script, printed in purple inks. An original old Victorian school pieceof the Nolder and Stevens families.
