Sarah Lydia Bridges was born on April 10, 1843, in Charlotte, Maine to Margaret Greenlaw, age 36, and Nathaniel S. Bridges (Nathaniel Bridges), age 39. She had six brothers and four sisters. She married John Bailey Richardson on August 15, 1877, in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She died in 1910 at the age of 67.

Her husband J.B. Richardson: John Bailey Richardson was born on September 25, 1843, in Dracut, Massachusetts, his father, Oliver Richardson, was 32 and his mother, Hepzibah Jane Bailey, was 18. He first married Phebe Cheney (Phoebe J. Cheney, Phebe Cheney) also known as Phebe J. Chevey. They had a son, Benjamine Franklin Richardson (Benjamin Richardson) born about 1872. Phoebe died in 1874 when Benjamin was only 2. Benjamin died in 1878 in Lawrence, Massachusetts at 6 years.
At age 30, John then had a daughter, Annie Bell Richardson, born in 1873 with Sarah L Bridges, also age 30. John Bailey Richardson and Sarah L. Bridges were married on August 15, 1877 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Annie Bell died in 1879 when she was 6 years old. It is assumed they divorced.
He later married Emma Merrifield and they had three children together. Emma Merrifield died in 1898 when she was 35 years old. In 1901, at age 57, John married Ada Cook, with her parents listed as Lucinda and Gilbert Whitcomb.
In the 1910 census, John is listed as widowed, his occupation was a milk dairy farmer in Methuen, Essex County, Massachusetts. He is living with 3 children on his farm: Harold Gilbert Richardson, age 16, Mildred E Richardson age 12 and Maud M Richardson, age 18. John died in 1913 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, at the age of 70.
