Very sadly, Effie Boutwell was murdered in Barre, Vermont in 1920, about 10 years after her husband Robert died. This can be found in Barre Newspaper accounts. This intimate full family portrait photo was found in New England, in White River Junction, Windsor County, Vermont. Group shot cabinet card photos such as this are uncommon. A beautiful photo and a clearly signed piece.
