An early original printed Victorian 19th c advertising trade card. Text on printed card reads: "Original James & Co., 25 cent Patent Ambrotypes, 4 Summer Street, Boston." The size is 2 x 2.25 inches, printed on orange thick early cardstock, possibly made to insert in an early wooden ambro case.

This Welsh family also has online with Oneida County, New York ties. This was found in a "lot" of antique paper in Madison, Madison County, New York. It depicts early typography fonts and graphics. A beautiful original old daguerreotype, ambrotype and early James photographer related piece, and in great condition. The heyday for ambrotypes came after the daguerreotype process, in the 1850's.
