Rhode Island Historical Society Manuscripts Division has in their possession 13 handwritten vintage diaries of Lloyd Clarence Eddy 1853-1926. He was born in Somerset, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
Lloyd Eddy's Parents:
His Father: Daniel Brayton Eddy, a Sea Captain
His Mother: Mary Brayton Bowers Eddy, the daughter of Enoch Tobey Bowers and Tabitha Guyton Bowers, who was from the state of Georgia.
In 1882 Lloyd married Olive Boss Chace.

Rachel Chace Eddy
Guyton Saxon Eddy (Guy S. Eddy, Guy Eddy)
In 1883, he and his brother Charles Eddy began a fruit business in Providence as the Eddy Bros. Lloyd died in 1926. This is a a very clear and crisp close up family portrait of his beautiful wife Olive Eddy. It was found in Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut and was an important Rhode Island family.
