We notice that many of the Barfus records also mention the surname Banks. Arkill Barfus, who was born in 1878, later becomes Arkill Banks in the US Census, a change in name. This is a wonderful Kentucky Barfus family portrait. It was found in Batavia, Genesee County, New York. This family may also have some upstate New York State roots.
