Montraville's mother's obituary in the Lockport Daily Union Newspaper of April 29, 1889: "Died at her home in Pendleton, Saturday, April 27th, Caroline P. Folger, aged seventy-four years, one month and two days. She leaves to mourn her loss eight children: Stephen Folger from the Indian Territory; Daniel Folger from Dakota Territory; Charles Folger of Batavia NY; Ulant Folger of Lockport NY; Mrs. J.M.Taylor of Hartland NY; Miss Demaris Folger of Pendleton NY; Mrs. M.T. Myers of Pendleton NY; and Mrs. C.T. Kneeland. The funeral will take place Wednesday, May 1st, 1889."  Note, is Ulant Folger actually Montraville? There is no Ulant Folger mentioned in any other records.

Buried at the Bear Ridge Cemetery, Pendleton, Niagara County, New York. We believe this photo is of Montraville. There is no other Folger male in Lockport in census records at this time with a first name starting with the letter M. Note that he is also known as Montreville Folger and Monteville Folger in census records. A beautiful old Folger family piece. Found in Genesee County NY.
