A wonderful Thornhill family photo of New London County, CT. Very sadly it appears that Mary Thornhill died soon after this photo was taken, in May 1871, at roughly the young age of 39 years. Her daughter Agnes Thornhill would have been 9-10 years old. A beautiful photo, close and intimate, and found in Western Massachusetts.
