Martha's 1898 marriage record clearly states Matthew & Olivia Johnson as her parents, and we assume that is the American name they went by. Most likely Martha went to school or college in Columbus Ohio, and this is her beautiful school photo. The photo was found in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. Stoughton, Wisconsin is in Dane County. A beautiful piece.
