The Baltimore Sun from Baltimore, Maryland: Tuesday, January 8, 1907, Page 9: Obituary of MARSHALL DUVALL: Mr. Marshall Duvall, 66 years old, died at his home, 323 East Twenty-fifth street, Sunday morning from paralysis. He was stricken last Wednesday. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Susan R. Duvall, who is a cousin or Mayor Timanus, and two sisters, Mrs. Cordelia Barker and Miss Sarah Duvall. Mr. Duvall was born in Prince George's county and had been engaged in the plastering business In this city for 40 years The ceiling and walls in the insurance offices of Maury & Donnelly, Holliday and Water streets, stand as a monument to his skill. He had just completed the work when stricken. Mr. Duvall was a member of Pickering Lodge of Masons and Pacific Lodge of Odd Fellows.

Note: As per above obituary, Marshall's wife Susan was a cousin to E. Clay Timanus 1863-1923, the Mayor of Baltimore from 1904 to 1907. (Edwin Clay Timanus)

This is a beautiful full body pose CDV photo of an architectural plasterer in Baltimore in the 19th century. He is fashionably dressed in Civil War era clothing: a silk waist coat and white pants, probably taken in the summer. He is listed as a contractor in US census records, and is known to have worked on important Baltimore buildings. It was found in Murphy, Josephine County, Oregon. The family is buried at the Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore City, Maryland
