This beautiful photo was found in Minneapolis, Minnesota, MN in the areas of Carver, Anoka and Hennepin County. This is about 40 miles from Cannon Falls MN mentioned above. She may also be seen as Lucinda Oakes, Lucille Oakes in census records. Lucy has beautiful thick hair in Victorian ringlets and it is an intimate and beautiful close up Civil War era portrait. We cannot say for certainty this is her above as Lucy A, Scolfield, unless a family member has other photos of her. The surname is also seen as Scholfield. A beautiful Oakes family piece.
