Eliza I. "Lizzie" Spencer (Eliza Spencer) was born on April 24, 1869, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island
Father: Edwin Clay Spencer (Edwin Spencer, Edwin C. Spencer) (1843-1923) His parents were David Spencer and Sybil Briggs (Sybil D. Briggs). He was the brother of Charles Denison Spencer, Lucretia Spencer, Adelaide A. Spencer, Susan A. Spencer, Daniel Spencer and Sarah Spencer. He married Phebe Spencer (Phebe Tourgee, Phoebe Tourgee, Phoebe Spencer) He enlisted in Company C, Rhode Island 7th Infantry Regiment on 04 Sep 1862. Mustered out on 09 Jun 1865.
Lizzie married Joseph Manuel about 1889, in Rhode Island. She died on May 23, 1890, in her home town, at the age of 21, and was buried in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Her married name was Eliza Manuel, Lizzie Spencer Manuel, Lizzie Manuel.
This calling card has a beautiful brown litho Victorian design of a swan in lake, castle off in the distance. This would have been her personal card.
