This was found in New England in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. This card has a beautiful lithographed butterfly motif. The census records state that Lawrence Heyer was born in both Germany and Pennsylvania, more research needed. This was a successful Philly toy store and employed many, thus many servants and workers show in census records. He also owned a toy store earlier in Boston. This is a beautiful Heyer family piece.
