Worldcat Books: A Boston store: Heyer Brothers Fancy goods, toys, musical instruments, perfumery, fancy china, and parian ware. They also published books: "Cock Robin" and "Jenny Wren" published by Heyer Brothers located at 106, 108 & 110 Congress Street, Boston and "Laugh and grow Fat" published by the Heyer Brothers: "Caricature alphabet: Laugh and grow fat: The strongest, the funniest, the best and cheapest ever invented." Sold by Heyer Brothers, 76 & 78 Federal St., Boston. (circa 1867)

This was found in New England in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. This card has a beautiful lithographed butterfly motif. The census records state that Lawrence Heyer was born in both Germany and Pennsylvania. This was a successful Philly toy store and employed many, thus many servants and workers show in census records. He also owned a toy store earlier in Boston. This is a beautiful Heyer family piece.
