#689 Vintage Invitation Postcard to 1909 Ohio Landis & Berry 4th Family Reunion:

Printed text on old postcard front reads: "You are invited to attend the Fourth Annual Reunion of the Landis-Berry Families at the home of L.H. Fulton, Saturday June 19, 1909. L.S. Berry, President, Belle Berry & Edna Hines, Secretary. One mile South-West of West Salem, Ohio. On reverse: Stamp is missing, Postmarked June 1, 8 PM in Polk, Ohio. Sent to "Mr. George Zarker & family, New London, Ohio"

Father's Name: William Fulton, born in New York in 1815
Mother's Name: Rhoda Morrison Fulton born 1822 in Ohio (Rhody Fulton)

His Wife: Malinda M Berry Fulton 1848-1927, the married in 1876, she is seen in records as Linda Berry Fulton and Malinda Berry Fulton.
Their Children:
1. Clyde William Fulton 1877-1927, married Harriet B. Blair Fulton in 1903, daughter of David N. Blair and Mary Forrer Blair. He is also seen as William C. Fulton and William Clyde Fulton in records. His two children were son, Russell David Fulton 1907-1995 and son, Howard B. Fulton 1919-2010.
2. Maud Fulton 1878-1900 died age 22
3. Jane Fulton born 1879
4. Pearl A Fulton 1879-1899 died age 20
5. Son: Fern Roland Fulton 1881–1972 born and died in West Salem, Wayne County, Ohio. He is also seen in records as Fern Rowland Fulton, Fern R. Fulton, Fern Ronald Fulton and his nickname, "Jeep" Fulton.
His wife: Maude E Smith 1882–1951 born in Wisconsin, died in Ohio, married in 1904. Her parents were Abraham Cresswell Smith 1855–1890 and Anna J Myers Smith, born 1857.
Their children, all born in Ohio, were:
1. Virgil Fulton 1906–1974, married Beulah Rumbaugh, daughter of John I Rumbaugh and Ina Matthews Rumbaugh.
2. Hazel J Fulton Kinney 1907–2010 who married Paul H. Kinney, son of Charles Kinney and Cora Rutt Kinney.
3. Son: Fern Roland Fulton Jr. 1922-1910 married Katherine Nemec Fulton. He died in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina

The postcard is addressed to the Zarker family, which we also found in records and are assumed to be a family relative of Luther Fulton and the Landis Berry Clan:
Ella Zarker 1869-1956
George Zarker 1869-1945
Both are buried at the Grove Street Cemetery, New London, Huron County, Ohio

This is a beautifully embossed lithographed vintage and antique postcard, It was printed in Germany, Serial number 507, and was found in Newton, Jasper County, Iowa. It is a great old original one of a kind genealogy piece for a wonderful genealogy reunion.
