This beautiful old original company advertising billhead has the following handwritten info: "Boston, Mass, Sept 26, 1894, To Mr. A.O. Robinson, Bought of Charles R. Kendall Printer and Publisher, 24 Mount Vernon St. For Hermippus Redivivus half mor. net $3.50, Recd. Payment per Charles Shackford (middle initial illegible to us) and Charles R. Kendall."

Note: "Hermippus Redivivus or The Sages Triumph Over Old Age and the Grave" is an early book by author Johann Heinrich Cohausen. 

Found in Public Genealogy Records:
We found an Albert O. Robinson (Albert Robinson) of Sanbornville, New Hampshire who went by A.O. Robinson in census records, was this his order? most likely so. 

Boston is in Suffolk County. This beautiful old Shackford billhead was found in Newburyport, Essex County, Massachusetts. A rare old original typography piece.

Size 4.5 by 8 inches.
