1905 Jacob Myear Blacksmith RPPC Photo, Addison, Washington County, WI

#692:

Image on front: 5 people stand in front of a barn with a wooden advertising sign that reads "Jacob Myear, Blacksmithing & Horseshoeing." There is a young boy in knickers, about 5 years old; a teenage girl; an older woman; an elder man; and a middle age man. It is deep summer and very sunny. There are tools on the ground and a cast iron gear.

On reverse: "Addison, WI, Jacob Myear Blacksmith Shop, German immigrant, age 42, born about 1868, wife Minnie and sons Elmor (Elmer Myear?) and Franklin, daughter Laura, 2 hired men: August Doell & Jacob Binger, Wagon Makers, 1910 census " is handwritten in pencil. This looks to be written in contemporary times by a researcher or postcard dealer, and is just how we found it. Photo type: RPPC Real Photo Postcard Photograph. Photographer: Unmarked, Unknown. This real postcard has a AZO stampbox with 4 triangles in the corners, dating it 1904-1918.  It is not postmarked, and was never sent.
