Found in Ulster County, New York, a beautiful Civil war era CDV photo of a young George Wagner, well dressed with watch fob, long black wool coat, felt or wool hat in hand. You can see the photographer's cast iron head stand peeking out behind him on floor, made to hold his head still during the long exposure. We believe this to be taken about 1862-1864, with George about 18-20 years old. Well signed. He is a handsome and dashing young Civil war era gentleman.
