Frances Ithamar Pillsbury 1851-1893, born in Princeton, Bureau County Illinois.
His Father: Rev. Ithamar Pillsbury 1794-1862 born in Dracut, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Joshua Pillsbury 1740–1825 and Elizabeth Sawyer Pillsbury 1750–1816. His sister was Miriam Pillsbury Walworth 1779–1871, see SAR application below. Ithamar died in Andover, Henry County Illinois in 1862 at age 68. His grandfather was the famous Caleb Pillsbury 1717-1778, Revolutionary War era member of the Provincial Congress, who lived in Lexington, Mass.
His Mother: Caroline Elizabeth Miller Pillsbury 1815-1896 was born in Long Island City, Queens County, New York and died in Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois in 1896 at age of 81.

Francis is buried in the Palma Sola Cemetery, in Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida. His wife's Blackwedel family was connected to Daniel Kindle Zumwalt, a well known pioneer in the history of Tulare County, California. This family has strong Daughters of the American Revolution DAR and SAR Sons of the American Revolution ties. This is a beautiful and clear old 1870's CDV image of a young serious gentleman, about 20 years old. It was found in Western Massachusetts in Hampshire County.
