Her Father: Hon. Lucius Manlius Boltwood Jr. 1825–1905, the son of Lucius Boltwood Sr. 1792–1872 and Fanny Haskins Shepard Boltwood 1807–1888. His father was Lieutenant William Boltwood 1766–1835 and his mother was Eunice Noble Boltwood 1770–1807.
Her Mother: Clarinda Boardman Williams Boltwood 1836–1920. the daughter of Hinckley Williams 1806–1888 and Elvira Armenius Wright Williams 1808–1899.

Fanny's father, Lucius Manlius Boltwood built his career as a librarian and genealogist. Her parents, Clarinda and Lucius Boltwood were very well known friends of the Emily Dickinson family in Amherst, Hampshire County. This is a beautiful old rare Boltwood family portrait. This is an important DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution and SAR Fanny, most likely in the class of 1893, as a student in New Haven. Her photo was in found in Franklin County, MA. Fanny may also be a nickname for Frances.
