On reverse: "Emily Warren" is boldly handwritten in old dip pen ink. (we believe her middle initial to be an "M", as in "Emily M. Warren" although it is not completely clearly an "M". Photo type: Antique Original Victorian CDV carte de visite Photograph. Photographer: T. Winsor, Photographer, Paignton. (known to be Thomas Winsor, born 1824, listed in as a Watch Maker and Photographer of Paignton, Devon, England working in the 1860-70's. He was married to Jane Doidge Winsor of Marystow, and had 5 children. Jane Winsor is listed as a widow in the 1881 census.)

This is a beautiful Victorian era CDV photo of Emily, wearing back ringlets, long earrings, and a belt with a large Victorian cross hanging at her waist. She appears to be about 14-17 years of age. The photographer, T. Winsor died at the end of the 1870's. His wife is listed as a widow in the 1881 England census. Therefore, we believe this photo to be taken 1875-1880.
Paignton is a seaside town on the coast of Tor Bay in Devon, England. The photo was found in nearby Exeter, Devon, England. A beautiful Devon English Warren family genealogy piece.
