The owner of this photo was Ebenezer's niece, Caroline Culver Atwell 1842-1926, known as Carrie Culver. She was born in Indiana, died in Orleans County, New York. 2nd Wife of Eli Atwell 1834-1915, and the daughter of Ebenezer's bother Nelson Culver above & his wife Anna Alida Hanson Culver.
Ebenezer looks appears a hardy pioneer type, as he was, born in 1808. This is a beautiful old photo found in Shelburne Falls, Franklin County, Massachusetts, close to Montague, Massachusetts. This is the area where his daughter Julia's husband Zebina Hunt was born. A beautiful piece. This is a DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution and SAR Sons of the American Revolutionary War family.
