We have also been looking for Mary Danagh before her marriage to Stillman Whitney, but to no avail. We have found her listed as Mary Darrah, Mary Darah, Mary Danah, and Mary Dannah. Her parents are listed in records as John & Elizabeth Berran, Bevan, Buran, and Burran, with both listed as born in Ireland. We did finally find a census record stating her marriage to Stillman Whitney was her second, therefore her surname is different than her parents. her marriage record states she was born In Swampscott, Massachusetts. The surname Danagh can also be also seen in overall genealogy records as McDanagh. Any help or correction appreciated, email Debra here.
