Second wife: Bessie Carpenter Lovmoney 1870-1919, they married 1899 in Springfield. Her parents were Martin H. Carpenter 1829-1895 (born in Ellenburg, Clinton County NY, son of Wilson Carpenter 1795-1871 and Clarissa Hopkins Carpenter 1805-1862) and 
her mother was Maria A. Gilson Carpenter 1829-1909 born in Orange, Franklin County MA. to Luther Gilson 1797-1883 and Eliza Ripley Gilson 1800-1875.
