Photo: 1860's Gem size tintype photo in CDV size matt, with an old yellow advertising card glued to back, for support. Photographer: Unmarked, Unknown. The back of this 1850's advertising card lists various medical conditions cured by a special water it is advertising, which is not named: influenza, erysipelas, Salt Rheumalism, Ulcerous and cancerous afflictions, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diaorhea, Syphilis, Diabetes, Catarrh, Consumption and etc.

A beautiful old original Rugg / Ruggs family piece found in Franklin County, Massachusetts. It is Civil War era, and shows a beautiful small and clear portrait of young Daniel, about 8-9 years old, taken approx 1866-1869. well signed. A treasure!
