Johnson, Crown Point, Essex County, New York. (known to be photographer Elbert M. Johnson 1844-1910 born in Vermont to Isaac T Johnson 1816–1896 and Mary T Clark Johnson 1815–1893. He was a Civil War veteran in Co. E, 2nd NY Cavalry. He married Flora E Button Keyes Johnson 1854-1921)

Clara L. Dunster 1867–1904, born and died in New York. Her parents were Charles Carroll Dunster 1830–1919 (born in Westport, the son of Jason Dunster and Hannah Hardy Dunster) and Rachel Benson Dunster 1836–1921. Her siblings were Elsie Dunster Hodgkins 1871-1907 (seen as Eltha, Eliza, Elsie, Elsa Dunster in census, married Frank W. Hodgkins 1863-1955); Mary M Dunster 1875-1931 and Lucy A. Dunster 1878–1890, died age 12.
Crown Point is in Essex County, New York on the west shore of Lake Champlain. It is about 40 miles southwest of Burlington, Vermont and 100 miles north of Albany County, New York. This is a very close up image of beautiful young Clara at about age 25. It was found by us in Schoharie, Schoharie County, New York in 2008. This family is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Wadhams, Essex County, New York. A beautiful piece.
