This is a beautiful old 1870's CDV image of a young boy with tussled hair, who appears to be about 16-20 years old. It is is slightly trimmed on edges, usually to fit into tight paper photo albums, as most were. Does not affect his image in any way.

We can see he traveled to the big city of Springfield to have this photo taken. This is a beautiul and clearly signed Ely family piece. It was found in Greenfield, Franklin County, Western Massachusetts.
