Cecil Colson, Cecil May or Cecile Mae Weyant was born 2 August 1882 in Wisconsin, daughter of George Winfield Scott Weyant and his first wife Caroline Weyant. They were in Auburn, Chipewah Chippewa County, WI in 1900, and by 1910 Winfield & Caroline were in Santa Cruz, California CA, where her mother Caroline died in 1913.
Cecil M. Weyant married Alphonse M. Colson in California around 1903, and she and her husband were living in Fremont, Santa Clara County, CA during the 1940 census. She died 22 Sep 1975 in Alameda County, CA, and is buried in Golden Gate National Cemetery, a U.S. National Cemetery, located in the city of San Bruno, San Mateo County, 12 miles south of San Francisco. She appears to have had 3 children: Violet Colson, Miriam Colson and Lawrence Colson.
