Clifford Leroy Koenig 1916-1992
Buried in Marionville, Lawrence County, MO. Clifford & his sister Anna Irene Koenig's father was Gustav Koenig (1892-1951). Their mother was Bertie Fae Dibbens Koenig (1896-1918), who was Gustav’s first wife. Fae died during the 1918 worldwide flu epidemic. Ivie Ethel Benson Koenig (1896-1987) was Gustav’s second wife, and they married after the 1920 US Census was taken on 6 May 1922 in Mt Vernon, Lawrence County, MO.
Note: Galen Johnson (also known as Galey Johnson) and Tempa Johnson were living in Forest Grove, Washington County, Oregon in 1917-1920. Tempa Elizabeth Hendrix Johnson was Gustav Koenig’s stepsister from his mother’s 2nd marriage. We do not know how this material came to be found in Marlboro, Windham County Vemont.
Here Clifford is about age 3, wearing a wonderful WWI era engineer coat, with his baby sister Anna, about 8 months old, wearing a lace gown. A beautiful close up portrait of both. See his other younger photo here.
Size: 3.5 by 5.5 inches
Note: Hello from ~debra. I have spent years collecting over 10,000 ID’d lost family photos & paper from US flea markets & antique shops. I do the best gen research I can, but am always open to corrections. This is an original antique item, not a reprint. A new high quality rigid sleeve is included for extra protection, especially during shipping. You may buy a piece alone, or large intimate 300 dpi scans of the front and back sent immediately via email, or both. Please search carefully, as they are often found together and many may be related. I also invite you to join me at Ancestorville Genealogy on facebook. Thank you, enjoy! ~Debra Clifford (contact info on top bar)
