We also found evidence of Alderose Esmay and her husband named James McCLELLEN. This is a wonderful historical McLennan family piece. A beautifully hand signed old CDV photo found in Franklin County, Massachusetts. Clarence, Iowa is in Cedar County, Mount Vernon is in Linn County, Iowa.

This family photo is slightly trimmed on edges, usually to fit into tight paper photo albums, as most were. Does not affect his actual image in any way. This is a large, ornate close up portrait of James, who is about 25-30 years of age. It was found in New England, in Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont.
