He was the son of William Orvis Gridley 1847–1905 and Sally Caroline Howe Gridley 1846–1933. His father's Parents were Elijah Gridley 1813–1893 (son of Reuben Gridley 1793–1857 and Olive Polly Herring 1794–1848) and Helen A Lewis Gridley 1817–1871 (daughter of James Lewis 1779–1865 and Abigail Hurbert Lewis 1776–1825).

This is a close up and wonderful image of Edna. It was Found in Lisle, Broome County, near Ithaca, NY in 2007 as per my own handwritten note on reverse. Edna is a beautiful girl wearing a high white collar dress with brooch. She appears about 16-20 years old.
