Interestingly, a book entitled "The Phillips Genealogy For 300 Years" was written by her father Rev. James Phillips Hoyt in 1886 Newtown CT.

This is one of those amazing children photos that makes you smile. It is rare to see smiling people of any kind in 19th c photography, and Cora is a joy, standing on an old chair in her handmade dress. We believe she was much loved. Sadly, she died young, at about 12-13 years of age.  This photo was found in Brimfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. A beautiful early lost family photo.
