Her Siblings were Edith Maria Curtiss 1869–1877 and Frances Eddy Curtiss 1876–1971.

Bessie is buried in a family plot with her parents and siblings in the Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. A beautiful photo of baby Bess and one of our favorite baby photos as Bessie's personality really shows through. She appears much loved, wearing a beautiful hand made off the shoulder Victorian era dress, and looking quite playful. A beautiful image found in Brimfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. Our guess is that this photo was sent back east by her Michigan family to her many Connecticut relatives.
