She married Alfred Vernon Rogerson 1840–1902 at the end of the Civil War in 1865. Their children were Robert Rogerson, born 1869, John Russell Rogerson 1873–1940 who married  Ethel Loxby Webb Rogerson 1883–1967; Albert Barrows Rogerson 1875–1875 died as an infant, and Winifred Barrows Rogerson 1882–1955.

1880 Census records: Julia B. Rogerson (b. abt. 1842 in MA, d. before 1888), wife of Alfred Vernon Rogerson. In the 1880 US Federal Census, Alfred V. Rogerson and wife Julia B. were living in Mansfield, Bristol, Massachusetts, along with their children Robert Rogerson (b. abt. 1869) and John R. Rogerson (b. abt. 1873).

After Julia's death, her husband Alfred remarried to Caroline Rebecca Webb Rogerson 1850–1929. He died in 1902 and she lived on as his widow in census records until her 1929 death.

In this photo, Julia may be wearing mourning clothing. This family photo is slightly trimmed on edges, usually to fit into the tight Victorian paper photo album sleeves. It does not affect her actual image in any way. It was found in nearby Brimfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts in 2005.
