Photographer: Bushby & Hart, 71 Broad Street, Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts (known to be photographers Asa C. Bushby or Asa Bushby 1834-1897 and Samuel S. Hart or Samuel Stanley Hart 1840-1894.

Found in Public Genealogy Records:
James M. Sargent 1810–1885 born in Haverhill and died in Lynn, Essex, Mass. His father was Ensign Sargent II 1789–1859 back to Ensign Sargent I 1763–1790 of Amesbury, Essex, Mass. His grandmother was Elizabeth Nichols Sargent 1767 and his mother was Anna Haynes Sargent 1790–1878. He married Lydia W. Parrott and their children were 1811–1870 William P Sargent 1833–1912, Phillinia A Sargent 1837–1889, James M. Sargent 1841–1921, Edwin L Sargent 1843–1907 and George Elwin Sargent 1848–1930 (who married Claribel Marshall Sargent 1850–1938 in 1871, and had a son John Richard Sargent 1876–1951)

His wife Lydia was the daughter of William Parrott 1787–1848 and Deborah Richards parrot 1789–1848. His wife's father was the son of Benjamin Parrott Sr 1730–1811 and Elizabeth Ingalls Parrot 1746–1828. This is an important DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution and SAR Sons of the American Revolutionary War family, in Massachusetts.
