George Gleason 1858-1947 died at aged 89 years, born in Chittenango, Madison County, New York and buried at the Belvidere Cemetery, Boone County, Illinois. His parents were Thomas Gleason and Carrie Dalrhymple Gleason. He married Carrie Stilwell Gleason 1858–1934 and their children were: Nellie Mae Gleason Burroughs 1883–1968 who married George Henry Burroughs 1880–1953; Jennie Gleason Fox 1885–1969; Charles Grover Gleason 1889–1966 and Irvin or Irving George Gleason 1895–1966.

This beautiful signed CDV photo was found in Hamilton, Madison County, New York, near where George Gleason was born. George is very handsome, about age 20 wearing a wide silk tie, collar up, and a mustache. We believe it was taken in the late 1870's.
