Lenzi, Photographer and Colorist, 172 Main Street, Norristown, Pennsylvania, Montgomery County. (known to be photographer George A. Lenzi 1835-1912. Sadly, according to a January 28, 1912 Philadelphia Inquirer news article, Mr. George Lenzi was found dead in the developing room of his photography studio due to an accidental gas accident. He was 78 years of age, and had worked as an early photographer in the Morristown area for 50 years)

His father Charles Powell Harry 1818–1898, son of Rees Harry 1778–1824 and Mary Snyder Harry born 1772. His line is traced back in America to David Harry 1678–1760 born in Machyalleth Poweys, Montgomeryshire, Wales and died in Whitemarsh, Montgomery County Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This line includes John Harry 1736–1800 who married Letitia Jones Harry born 1735 and Rees Harry 1704–1788 of Haverford, Chester County, Pennsylvania who married Mary Price Harry born 1706;

His mother was Rebecca Darrah Markley Harry 1822–1892 of Limerick Township, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. her parents were Abraham Markley 1796–1872 and Mary Ann Darrah Markley 1798–1868. Her siblings were Sarah D. Markley 1817–1891, Samuel Markley 1826–1891, A. Thompson Markley 1830–1912 and Isaac Markley.

His siblings were Mary Harry 1849–1924, Edwin Morris Harry 1853–1926, Anna Harry born 1866 and A. Markley Harry.

Charles's occupation was a dentist. He first married Elizabeth Longaker Harry 1856–1904, also seen as Elizabeth Longacre) at age 32. His second wife he married at age 55: Marie Boyer Dettre Harry 1879-1971 in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylania. She was born in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. They had 2 children: Carolus Powel Harry 1884–1958 (married Lillian D Dannaker Harry 1893–1965 and had 2 children: Ruth Harry 1915–1982 and John Boyer Harry 1917–1988 who had a son David Markley Harry 1938–1998) and Charles Howard Harry Jr. 1909–1984 who married Regina Louise Harry 1924–2005, who died in Lake Worth, Palm Beach, Florida.

This photo was found  in the area of Ulster, Columbia and Dutchess County, New York, NY. Charles appears to be about 18 years of age, a dental school photo? a beautiful image. This Harry family is an important DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution and SAR Sons of the American Revolutionary War family, mentioned in the Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage Books. The family is buried in Montgomery Cemetery in Norristown.
