This young girl is wearing a beautiful handmade Victorian white lace outfit and a large cross. Found in Hampden County, Massachusetts, MA. Aggie or Aggy is usually a nickname for Agnes, Agnesia, or Agatha.

We believe her to be Catholic with her large cross, white lace and a thick sash, communion? We also believe her to be born about 1870-1875. ring any Byrnes family genealogy bells?

NOTE: This photo was removed from a photo album found in the Springfield MA area of Massachusetts, Hampden County. A very kind dealer / collector was finding and saving extensive family and genealogy material in the 1980-1990’s in New England. We purchased hundreds of items from her over time. She bought at local auctions and flea markets, carefully rewriting the family names as they were originally written on the decrepit album sleeves, as so often antique photo albums do not stand the test of time. This photo was one of her finds.

This family photo is slightly trimmed on edges, usually to fit into the tight Victorian paper photo album sleeves. It does not affect Aggie's actual image in any way.
