Printed on front: "Miss S. Wolfsbruck, Manufacturer of Infant's & Children's Wear, Lace Goods & c., Corsets to Measure. No. 9 Lispenard Street, New York."

Susanna Wolfsbruck 1849–1924 known as Susan Wolfsbruck
Her Father: Zacharias Wolfsbruck, also known as  Zadic Wolfsbruck, and Frederick "Fred" Wolfsbruck 1820–1900, his occupation is a "cloth merchant" in census records.
Her Mother: Fredericka Ricker Wolfsbruck 1822–1901, also seen in US census records as Rachel Ricker Wolfsbruck.

Susan was born Baden, Germany in 1849, and died in Manhattan, New York City, New York, Kings County in 1924, at the age of 75 years.
Her Siblings:
Jeannette Wolfsbruck 1858–1934, known as Netta or Nettie
Caroline Wolfsbruck 1859–1927 (Carrie or Caroline Wolfsbruck, A NYC Dentist)
Theresia Wolfsbruck 1846–1905 known as Theresa Wolfsbruck, or Teresa, half sister.

Susan's occupation is listed in census records as: "Infants, Suits, Underwear, Corsets, Infant wear, Ladies furnishings, and Clothing." An alternative spelling of this surname in records is seen as Wolfsbrook.

It is rare to see a advertising for a woman run business in 19th century Victorian America. This is a beautiful, small and old lithographed trade card with flowers. She appears to have been in business for years. Her sister Caroline, was a dentist in NYC. Quite an illustrious family with strong women for the times!
