Darmstadt, Germany is in the state of Hesse, located in the southern part of the Rhine Main Area. This photo is quite light in tone, but still a beautiful image and Saul family treasure. Scans are enhanced and sharpened to clarity to see her well. It is slightly trimmed on top edge, to fit into the tight CDV photo albums. This photo was found in Kington, Ulster County, New York. Interestingly, upon arrive in the United States, Peter Sauer lived in the Albany, Albany County, New York area in census records. This is about 50 miles from where this photo was found.
