Charles Payson Grosvenor 1844–1912 (C.P. Grosvenor, Charles P. Grosvenor) born Pomfret, Windham, Connecticut and died in Abington, Windham, Connecticut. His father: Charles Ingalls Grosvenor 1802–1864 was born to Parents Joshua Grosvenor Jr. 1758–1838 and Sarah Sharpe Ingalls Grosevenor 1762–1807. His father's Siblings were Olive Grosvenor 1784–1872, Payson Grosvenor 1786–1787, Sally Grosvenor 1788–1837 Payson Pepper Grosvenor 1790–1832, Walter Grosvenor 1792–1796, Jasper Grosvenor 1794–1857, Esther Grosvenor 1796–1820, Deborah Grosvenor 1798–1799, Unnamed infant Grosvenor 1799–1800, Joshua Grosvenor III 1804–1804, and Infant Grosvenor 1805–1805. His father's first wife was Angelina Moseley Grosevenor 1804–1832 to which one child (Charles step sister) Maria Jane Grosvenor 1829–1885 was born.
His mother: Euretta Catherine Gordon Grosevenor 1803–1887 (aka Ewretta)
His only sibling was: Euretta Gordon Grosvenor born 1850.

His first wife was: Hannah Grosevenor 1845–1869, died age 24
His second wife was: Emma Frances Tucker Grosevenor 1851–1927

A very stunning and intimate close up portrait of Charles Grosvenor, who
appears to be 35-42 years of age. He was a farmer in Pomfret, Connecticut. This photo was found in Hampden County, Massachusetts. He and his family are buried in the Abington Cemetery in Abington, Windham County, Connecticut. This is an important DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution and SAR Sons of the American Revolutionary War family and a well signed and rare portrait of a patriot family member.
