This is an exceptionally clear and beautiful image. The reverse is clearly handwritten as Abel Woodard Moore, yet genealogy records list him as Abel Woodward Moore. Interestingly, he went from beng listed as a baker to a broker in genealogy records, which could be a misspelling.

This photo was found in Greenfield, Franklin County in Western Massachusetts near the Vermont border. This is close to where he once lived. A beautiful piece and an amazing portrait. We wish all of our photos were this intimate and clear.
