Her husband: Oscar C Gove 1843–1908 born in Newcastle, Lincoln County, Maine and died in Lynn, Massachusetts. They married in 1865 in Bowdoinham, Sagadahoc County, Maine.
His father: William M Gove born 1818 to Elijah Gove 1795–1878 and Rebecca Herrin Gove 1795–1868. Elijah's parents (Oscar's grandparents) were Nathan Gove 1764–1837 and Judith Tibbetts Gove 1764–1850.

This beautiful old CDV photo of Sarah Gove is signed "SA Gove." It was found in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Sarah appears about 25 years old here, in the 1870's. It is a wonderfully clear and close up Victorian portrait of her, that we were very happy to find.
