Found in Public Genealogy Records:
Reverend Edward S Yocum 1804–1887 was born in Pennsylvania and lived in Yorktown, Westchester County, New York. He died at age 82 in 1887.
We believe his father to be William Yocum 1747-1813, buried in the Tennis-Lukens Cemetery in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. William was the son of James C. Yocum, 1715-1758 and Bathsheba Tennis Yocum 1723-1758. We believe his mother to be Margaret Wilson Yocum, 1749-1832.

Edward's Wife: Caroline Hagy 1810–1881 born Lower Merion, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to Jacob Hagy 1780–1841 and Hannah Levis Robeson Hagy 1786–1874.

Rev. Yocum appears in his later fifties in photo, wearing early small round spectacles. This family is buried at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Westchester County, New York. The photo was found in Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut. A wonderful look at an early Westchester Pastor, Clergy or Minister Yocum. This surname is also seen spelled as Yocom, Youcome, Yokom, Youcom, and Youcum. A rare and wonderful piece.
